1. Grab a coin and turn the cap clockwise to open the cap 2. Install 3 AAA batteries in the tip and ensure the positive contacts all facing downward. 3. Use the coin push and turn the cap counterclockwise (left) very tightly as you can. 4. You may wish to test the tip before attaching it onto your cane. 5. This LIGHT UP CANE TIP is light and motion sensitive! When the cap is completely closed, the light will only turned on when it is tapped in a dark room. 6. After the SureStep is successfully turned on in the dark room, you can now install it onto your cane. 7. Enjoy walking confidently at night!
